Today I have been adapting my hitbox project so that I could implement it into the main game, we need this as we are at the stage that there hitboxes are essential for the game, especially for the upcoming testing session, we aim to have an Boss Enemy along with a playable character. An important thing that we wanted to start creating and brainstorming was the skill tree idea, we looked at the various different types of skill trees and we decided on a circular skill tree. The different skill tree designs allows us to decide on how much freedom the player has to create their own character and we believe that using this circular skill tree allows for that.

 This is the different skill tree ideas that we thought of having, each with their own traits. We had a good talk about what we wanted to get from a skill tree and we agreed that we wanted as much freedom as possible to create a character that you wanted. We also decided that it would not just be a skill tree in which you get skills with each step, you would get stat bonuses up until a new skill, we think this will ease a player into the system well.
This is a skill tree that has some of the ideas that we think would work. You start in the middle and each path allows you to increase one of your stats and you get skills that go hand in hand with the path you have chosen. The further you get from the middle the higher the stat bonuses get but in this game you have to buy these with the right materials, ours will just be through leveling up. (Game is "Last Cloudia")

The things that we had to decide on next was what kind of stats we would like in the game, this was a point of contention within the discussion as some of us had different ideas from the rest of the group. The stats that we have decided to go with for now are the following;

HP - Increases the health of the player
STAMINA - Increases the stamina of the player
MOVEMENT SPEED - Increases the movement speed of the player
ATTACK SPEED - Increases the rate at which the player can attack
CRUSH - Increases CRUSH based damage
PIERCE - Increases PIERCE based damage
SLASH - Increases SLASH based damage
BLOCK - Decreases damage taken when blocking
STEALTH - Decreaced the chance of being seen by enemies

This is the order that they are going to go in the skill tree although everything here is subject to change if we decide on something better.
